It is hard to believe, but October 31st marks the one year anniversary of opening the Fiberglass Freaks’ Batman Museum! To celebrate, we have something special planned for the entire month of October:
Costume Contests Saturday, October 4th
Kiddos at 1:30 and adults at 3:30
Kids Corner Saturday, October 11th
From 12-4, Kids can design and build your own action figure and learn how to draw Batman
Cosplay Day, October 18th
Batman and Robin will be facing Catwoman and Harley Quinn from 12-4.
Jim Beard and Kevin Silva, Saturday, October 25th
Meet author Jim Beard (Gotham City: 14 Miles) and Batman Collector Kevin Silva (from the documentary “Holy Memorabilia”).
Games and Prizes, Friday, October 31st Meet curator Mark Racop and manager and artist Abby Racop, play games, win cool prizes, and have a great time as we celebrate one year together.
And last, but not least, the Barris-built #4 dragster 1966 Batmobile (the one used in “The Contaminated Cowl” when the #1 was being repaired), will be at the museum for the entire month of October! Come help us celebrate!
