Author Jim Beard became a published writer when he sold a story to DC Comics in 2002. Since that time he’s written official Star Wars and Ghostbusters comic stories and contributed articles and essays to several volumes of comic book history. Of particular interest to Batman fans are his GOTHAM CITY 14 MILES, a book of essays on the 1966 Batman TV series; as well as THE SUB-TERRANEAN BLUE GROTTO ESSAYS ON BATMAN 66. Jim will be present to sell books and sign autographs on October 31st only.
Batman and Robin are hoping to drop by for appearances throughout the day, as long as they aren’t needed in Gotham City. There will be face painting and lots of activities for the kids, as well.
